Kahone Concept is in a “Trashy State of Mind”

Throughout 2023, Kahone Concept has been unstoppable. In April, the pop artist/producer embarked on a “song a month” mission, beginning with the release of “I Like You but Don’t Talk”. 8 months and 8 songs later, Kahone is ending the year with the release of his 9th single, “Trashy State of Mind”.

Kahone is playful on “Trashy State of Mind” (the song title – a play on Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind”). It’s a bright, spirited track, the intro reminiscent of a Glee theme, the rest comparable to Harry Styles’ “Music For A Sushi Restaurant”. Kahone keeps the lyrics light-hearted yet honest: “If it’s free that’s where I’ll be / My trashy habits follow me.” He’s admitted, “I’ve been told to act like I fit in, (but) I’ve realized that I don’t and I never will.”
