K-pop girl group BLACKPINK returns with new mini album ‘DEADLINE’

Fans within the K-Pop community can be heard screaming from thousands of miles away as another exciting album release announcement shocks the Internet: girl-group sensation BLACKPINK gear up for their album DEADLINE, releasing Feb. 27.

Announced via Youtube video, this album will be the first released by the YG Entertainment group since 2022’s release, Born Pink.

Consisting of members JENNIE, LISA, ROSÉ, and JISOO, BLACKPINK has made history with outstanding achievements over the last two years. These include everything their smash hit “JUMP” dropping last year to JENNIE’s solo album RUBY (featuring hits like “Like Jennie,” and “Mantra,” and “ExtraL” ft. Doechii), LISA‘s solo album titled Alter Ego (with hits like “FXCK UP THE WORLD” and “Rockstar”,) and headlining Coachella in 2023 as a group.

Not much information has been released about the album, but many fans are eagerly waiting to see what will be announced in the coming months as the girls prepare for the final two performances of their DEADLINE world tour in Tokyo and Hong Kong. These girls are definitely ones to keep your eye on (and your pockets ready for!).
