Actor and musician Jabari Banks took to Instagram to announce the release of his debut EP, Ultra. Jabari has had music on his radar for a while, but now he’s ready to show it to the world.
Banks is well known for his role as Will Smith in Peacock’s Bel-Air, the adaptation of the 1990s hit TV series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. This new era, moving from the TV screen into the studio, is where Jabari is stepping into his own role.
This isn’t, however, Jabari’s music debut. In December 2023, he released the single “Something Else,” followed by “Weekend Drive” in August 2024. His music is a mix of R&B, soul, and hip-hop soundscapes.
In his announcement, Banks wrote:
“My new EP Ultra releases September 5th. Music has been a part of my life since I can remember, can’t wait to share this slice of it with you. I put the last 4 years of my journey into this project. Make sure you listen to get the full story.”
