English heavy metal legends Iron Maiden will bring their 50th Anniversary Run For Your Lives World Tour to stadiums and amphitheaters in North America in summer 2026. The 13 dates across the U.S. and Canada expand the band’s global tour, marking 45 years since the band’s first visit to the countries on the 1981 Killer World Tour.
The celebration continues with state-of-the-art production in large-scale outdoor venues, accompanying the band’s unique setlist featuring Iron Maiden’s biggest hits from their first nine albums.
Lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson shares,
“This whole tour has been such great fun. I really enjoy belting out all these great old songs, and the whole band are loving playing them too! We’ve got all the big ones from that early period including Hallowed, Run To The Hills, Trooper, Number Of The Beast, Killers, Powerslave, 2 Minutes… and some of them we haven’t played in the US for over 20 years!! Plus there’s some real epics including my particular favourite ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ and Seventh Son… We are doing them all and more. I mean, who wouldn’t for a 50th birthday party!”
The North American leg of the Run For Your Lives World Tour will kick off on Aug. 29, 2026, in Toronto, ON, at Scotiabank Arena and stop in major cities, including Montréal, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles, before concluding on Sept. 29, 2026, at Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.
Iron Maiden’s return to BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on Sept. 25 will be the 25th time “The Trooper” band will perform in the City of Angels.
The North American Run For Your Lives World Tour will feature special performances by LA thrash metal band Megadeth on all dates, with New York heavy metal band Anthrax joining in Montréal, Harrison, LA, and San Antonio.
Fan Club presale begins on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and general on-sale tickets for the headliner begin on Friday, Oct. 31. Tickets and more tour information will be available here.
Bassist and keyboardist Steve Harris shares,
“We are greatly looking forward to bringing this RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR to North America and hope the fans enjoy seeing the show and hearing the set list as much as we do playing it.”
The band and their team will encourage fans to limit their phone usage and keep devices away during the show, a practice they’ve found successful on the European dates of the world tour. Iron Maiden’s manager, Rod Smallwood, shared how special it was that their “fans appreciated and respected” the phone-limiting request.
Smallwood shares,
“Our fans’ understanding and cooperation made a colossal difference to the atmosphere of every show and increased the enjoyment enormously for the band and fans alike. […] So for all our North American shows we are once again requesting that fans keep their phones in their pockets and enjoy the show ‘in the moment’, rather than raise their phone in the air trying to film sections and thus inconveniencing those around them and annoying the band. So if a so-called fan near you thinks they are special and filming what they selfishly want please just ask them, very politely of course, to put their phone somewhere the sun doesn’t shine!”
On the topic of more dates beyond this new announcement, the band shared via social media: “For the rest of the world – don’t worry, there are still more countries to be announced for the Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026!”
In September, Iron Maiden announced their highly anticipated European headlining tour, which will run from May to July 2026.
Iron Maiden will also headline America’s biggest rock festival, Louder Than Life, at the Highland Festival Grounds in Kentucky on Sept. 17, 2026, alongside “Welcome To The Black Parade” icons My Chemical Romance. Ticketing information and more are available on the festival’s website here.
