“I’ll take you for a ride if you wanna get down:” Oliver Tree releases latest epic single, “Joyride”

Date:

Indie rockstar Oliver Tree releases “Joyride,” the second single from Tree’s upcoming fourth album, Love You Madly, Hate You Badly.

The Santa Cruz native continues to draw inspiration from the roots of Ugly Is Beautiful (2020), blending hip-hop, electronic, and indie sounds in “Joyride,” while simultaneously elevating the vibe since the debut album.

Shot in Latvia, the “Joyride” music video features an abstract aesthetic typical of Tree, with the alternative trailblazer hanging from the sky, doing visually appealing stunts, and cars being set ablaze.

Tree shared on X,

JOYRIDE IS FINALLY OUT ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS. ENJOY THIS ART THAT I MADE FOR YALL WITH EVERY OUNCE OF MY HEART AND SOUL. LOVE YOU GUYS MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW

Oliver Tree released his first single from the upcoming album, “Superhero,” in October. This was the first solo song from the American singer-songwriter since his 2023 album Alone In A Crowd

After spending the last two years recording his upcoming album, Oliver Tree announced he will premiere his fourth studio album titled Love You Madly, Hate You Badly. While the project does not have an official release date, it is available to pre-save on streaming platforms here.

The “Hurt” singer has yet to announce an upcoming tour, but American fans may be in luck in 2026, as he has allowed fans to sign up to be the first to know about future dates in select cities across the U.S.

Oliver Tree will perform as a special guest with the “it boy” himself, bbno$, on the rapper’s special Red Rocks Amphitheater performance on Apr. 16, 2026, in Colorado, alongside rappers Käärijä, YNG Martyr, and jungle bobby. Remaining tickets and more information are available here
