The debut single from Jack Brickner and Sam Wright was recorded primarily in their Brooklyn apartments and pays homage to a woman whose acquaintance they never made. The unnamed, tantalizing “Tonya” left the scent of Honeydeux behind on the dance floor.
This track is great for appeasing road rage, pesky Sunday chores, and tuning out your mundane coworkers back at the office. Take your pick and enjoy the ride.
As for the future, “Honeydeux” is just the beginning. Zach Kornhauser and Gavi Kutliroff have now joined the mix as Honeysucker prepares a waterfall of releases and eclectic performances in their future to help establish themselves as part of Brooklyn’s music scene.
