Hello Sister Defends Their Name On New Song “Empty Motive”

Date:

Hailing from Orlando, Florida, the sibling trio of Hello Sister is taking the indie rock world by storm. In their songs, these sisters share the triumphs and hardships of adolescence, making it easy for their younger fans to relate to them. Their latest release “Empty Motive” is about breaking free from bad relationships.

“Empty Motive” releases anger and mistrust that comes with betrayal. Hello Sister defends their name in a messy friendship breakup through powerful vocals and leading electric guitar. While the other side of the relationship has attempted to ruin Hello Sister’s reputation, they acknowledge the empty threats made by the opposing side. Lyrics such as “It’s not / My fault / That you’re feeling guilty about the things you’ve done / You don’t gotta lay it all on me” highlight their want to put things in the past while this opposing force is trying to cause more drama.
