Griffin Benton releases “Broken Pieces” from ‘In A Darker Shade’

Griffin Benton has released his new single “Broken Pieces,” part of his brand new album In A Darker Shade, which was released on Oct 26. Through his music, Benton has amassed a following of over 13,000 on Instagram and has over 16,000 monthly Spotify listeners. His most popular track, “Major Rotation,” has over 120,000 streams and counting.

Fans of Benton made their excitement for “Broken Pieces” known on his Instagram. Comments under the song’s announcement include “SOUND THE BANGER ALARMS !!” (@erikrdietz), “WE OUT HERE!!!” (@jamisdekay) and “WOOO LETS GO” (@hae.s.o.l).

“Broken Pieces” is the perfect track for fans of The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, or Bleachers. Of the tracks on In A Darker Shade, Benton said “Broken Pieces” feels a lot more like an indie track.
