Gracie Abrams surprises fans with second album out June 21

Date:

A little over a year after releasing her debut studio album Good Riddance, Gracie Abrams has made waves in the music industry, earning a nomination for Best New Artist at the 66th Grammy Awards earlier this year. Now, she is gearing up for the release with her highly-anticipated sophomore album, The Secret of Us, which is set for release on June 21 via Interscope Records.

Abrams began teasing music this month by posting pictures and videos on her Instagram account. The album announcement on April 29 was accompanied by the announcement of her lead single, “Risk,” which will be released later this week on Wednesday, May 1.

In an Instagram post, Abrams said, “We had real, true fun writing this album. There were also the occasional tears. Audrey and I wrote Risk on our couch at home. Aaron produced the shit out of it. Abby shot the cover. The music is yours in basically five seconds and we cannot wait. I. Love. You.”
