Country music star Ella Langley has announced her sophomore album Dandelion, out April 10. Alongside the announcement, Ella has released the title track, “Dandelion”, with an official visualizer.

The new album is set to be the most vulnerable work the country star has released. “I’ve never poured more of myself into a project, into a song, into an idea,” Ella admits. “And it’s fallen out so beautifully.”

The album is meant to feel effortless and immersive, as a soundtrack to everyday life, or as an honest, reflective piece of work. Ella describes it as “fireflies in the summertime… the best kind of Sunday afternoon,” ultimately calling the album “a love letter” to those fleeting, golden moments.

The title draws from the dandelion’s symbolism of resilience and renewal. “Dandelion tea is a natural detox for the liver,” Ella notes. “So a record called ‘Dandelion’ after a record called ‘hungover’ made all the sense in the world.”
