
Multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning Sacramento band Deftones will release their anxiously awaited album, Private Music, this August.
The group is set to release their tenth studio album on Aug. 22, via Reprise/Warner Records.

The group (Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cunningham and Frank Delgado) also shared the new single “my mind is a mountain,” marking a brand-new chapter.
They recorded and co-produced private music in various locations in California, including Malibu and Joshua Tree, as well as Nashville, Tennessee, with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz. The forthcoming project marks their third collaboration with Raskulinecz, who had previously worked on Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan.

This news comes on the heels of notable successes and recognitions, as Deftones have recently received several new RIAA certifications, recognizing recent sales milestones. White Pony is now RIAA certified 2x-Platinum, while Diamond Eyes is RIAA certified Platinum. Notable singles include “Change (In The House of Flies),” which is RIAA Certified 4x-Platinum, and “Be Quiet and Drive,” which is RIAA Certified 2x-Platinum.
