Posted yesterday evening on Instagram, Deftones announced a surprise collaboration with Dickies, a clothing company known for its durable workwear.
Over the past two decades, Dickies has made a mark in alternative streetwear fashion primarily amongst skaters. Its comfortable, affordable, and high-quality clothing is recognizable with its effortless style.
Not only was Deftones’ lead vocalist Chino Moreno known for wearing Dickies apparel in the early ’90s, but other prominent musicians in the scene rocked minimalist wardrobe pieces from the brand such as cargo pants, vintage t-shirts, and long-sleeved baseball shirts.
The collaboration will drop for a limited time today at 9am PST and 12pm EST on Deftones’ official merchandise site here.
