Nashville’s own Chris Young is turning up the holiday cheer this year with his first-ever Christmas tour — It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young.
Kicking off November 20 in Cedar Rapids, IA, and wrapping December 20 in Wallingford, CT, the 15-city run will deliver cozy, stripped-down performances of festive favorites from his It Must Be Christmas album, plus plenty of heartfelt moments to match the season’s magic. “Christmas is probably my favorite holiday,” Young says.
“Music was always tied to that feeling for me, so I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on the road!”

The holiday news drops alongside another major milestone: Young’s tenth studio album, I Didn’t Come Here To Leave, arrives October 17, 2025, marking his first release with Black River Entertainment. The 14-track project — featuring the rising single “Til The Last One Dies” and the just-released title track — celebrates a new chapter for the GRAMMY-nominated hitmaker as he hits his stride after more than a decade of chart-toppers and sold-out tours. This winter, Chris Young isn’t just coming to town — he’s bringing the spirit of the season, a brand new album, and a whole lot of country soul.
