Charlotte Sands makes fans feel Special in Chicago

Date:

Nashville-based pop-punk artist Charlotte Sands played Chicago’s House of Blues Friday night as part of The Maine’s XOXO tour.

After quickly gaining momentum in 2020 when her single “Dress” went viral on Tik-Tok, Charlotte Sands has established herself as a powerhouse in the music industry – all without a debut album.

Opening her set with her unreleased track “Tantrum,” and “Bad Day” from her 2022 EP Love and Other Lies, Charlotte commanded the stage and brought an energy I haven’t seen from an opening artist in a long while. Sand’s tracks have honest and vulnerable lyrics, but at first listen are upbeat anthems, a combination that works well in her next songs “Bad Day” and “Special.”

Sands finished her set with “Every Guy Ever,” “Keep Me Up All Night,” and “Lost” before closing with the song fans had been waiting for – “Dress.”

Charlotte Sands surprised fans later in the evening by joining The Maine to perform their collaboration “Love You A Little” before thanking them for having her on tour, and for her fans for being so supportive.
