After months of teasing, Charlie Puth has finally released “Light Switch”. The track, which Puth has almost exclusively been promoting on his TikTok channel, is a funky upbeat track filled with a chorus you can’t help but belt out. “You turn me on like a light switch.”
“Light Switch” is the first track from Charlie’s upcoming release Charlie and his first release since his 2018 release Voicenotes. Not much more has been said about Charlie‘s release.
The music video, directed by Christian Breslauer, starts off with Puth on his couch, stuffing his face with chips, and not looking his best while crying his eyes out over a girl. All of a sudden the jazzersize instruction takes Charlie on a fitness transformation to help get his girl back. While the efforts didn’t quite work, at least Charlie can say he tried and is looking fabulous.
“First thing you’ll notice is my voice sounds different because I had my nose fixed and tonsils out…I sound less…scratchy hahah,” he tweeted.
