Chappell Roan is MAC Cosmetics’ newest global ambassador

Date:

Chappell Roan is the newest Global Ambassador of MAC Cosmetics and will be starring in worldwide campaigns for the brand beginning in 2026. The Grammy-winning artist said the partnership “feels full circle,” noting her personal connection to the brand:

“This brand has always made space for people like me; since day one they’ve embraced art, queerness, drag and self-expression. I’ve built a special relationship with the MAC team over the years, and they’ve been amazing and thoughtful collaborators on this new journey.”

Known for her drag-inspired makeup looks, Roan has previously collaborated with MAC for her appearances on last year’s MTV Video Music Awards, Saturday Night Live, and this year’s Grammy Awards.

Makeup artist Andrew Dahling, responsible for creating the above mentioned moments, also worked on the singer-songwriter’s debut campaign with MAC, calling it “a modern take on androgyny that feels powerful, graphic, and unmistakably her.” About the inspiration behind the bold visual, he said, “I drew from film-noir monochrome and 1930s military references and then layered in her signature high glamour.”

Meanwhile, MAC Cosmetics’ global creative director, Nicola Formichetti, highlighted how Roan represents “a generation that values authenticity, queer joy and fearless self-expression, which aligns perfectly with MAC and our mission of ‘All Ages, All Races, All Genders.’” He then added: “Her love for her community, especially her commitment to LGBTQIA+ voices and rights, reflects the heart of what MAC has championed since the beginning,” Formichetti added.

Details regarding Chappell Roan and MAC’s upcoming projects have not been revealed yet. “I can’t wait for the time when I can share what we’ve made with people everywhere,” Roan teased. For now, fans can recreate her debut campaign look with a step-by-step guide here.
