Psychedelic folk band Ames Harding & The Mirage have released their latest single, “tiger balm”, produced by rock band Animal Scream.
With its lush melodies and sultry vocals, “tiger balm” feels like a tropical escapade; it beautifully creates a tender soundscape, leading the listener through an intense sensory experience. Harding’s own multicultural upbringing is reflected in the music, with a blend of folk, latin and indie elements that make for a sophisticated, almost erotic sound.
Described as “an exploration of bisexuality and self-soothing”, the band manages to create a cinematic world that is full of sensuality.
