Singer-songwriter kenzie announced her new EP, notes from the in between, due out April 10.

On Thursday, April 2, the singer, whose full name is Mackenzie Ziegler, announced the forthcoming EP will feature five tracks — reportedly accompanied by five videos, available on release day, according to a release.

The new EP comes on the heels of her single, “mutual destruction,” which was released on Feb. 27, as well as “where do we go.” The project also features focus track “sophie” and two additional songs.

According to a release, notes from the in between capture the 21-year-old in a moment of personal transition between adolescence and adulthood, and tackle themes such as certainty and confusion, closure and unanswered questions.

The project was reportedly written during a period of emotional change.

“notes from the in between is a collection of songs written from a place of transition. it lives in the space between who I was and who I’m becoming, before clarity, before answers, before certainty,” she says.

notes from the in between EP Tracklist:

1. kleptomaniac
2. sophie
3. mutual destruction
4. time machine
