Date:

5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) is back!

Fans have been waiting patiently for 5SOS to make their comeback to music, and it is officially happening. The band, consisting of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood has not released an album since their fifth album 5SOS5 which came out in 2022.

5SOS just announced their newest album EVERYONE’S A STAR! which is set to hit all streaming platforms on Nov. 14.

Pre-save EVERYONE’S A STAR! here, along with vinyls and CDs of the album that fans can pre-order on the bands official website, where they also revealed the tracklist to their sixth studio album.

Alongside the album announcement, the group released their newest single “NOT OK,” which is the first listen the fans get for the sound of this album. The track is filled with a hyper beat that is meant to get people on their feet to dance.

Hemmings, the group’s leading vocalist, shared some thoughts about the song:
“It has the older 5 Seconds of Summer energy, but it’s different—which is the whole M.O. of this chapter. Lyrically, it’s about letting out the darker side of yourself and embracing it. The song is also a nod to the band itself. We pull those sides out of each other.”

The newest single is also the bands debut under their newly signed deal with Republic Records.

EVERYONE’S A STAR! Tracklist:
1. Everyone’s A Star!
2. NOT OK
