LIVE PHOTOS: Taking Back Sunday // St. Petersburg, FL

Date:

New Island, New York rock band Taking Back Sunday celebrated their twentieth-anniversary tour with us on October 13 at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL. Joining the boys for this special tour was Oklahoma City punk rock, band Red City Radio.

Red City Radio was the first one to take the stage. They did their part in getting the crowd pumped with songs such as Rebels and If You Want Blood (Be My Guest). This was my first time seeing Red City Radio along with only knowing a select few songs by the band but I enjoyed the set nonetheless.

Taking Back Sunday has become a common house name in the punk scene and it’s not hard to understand why. Taking Back Sunday’s debut album, Tell All Your Friends was released March 26, 2002, and they have been rocking ever since. Because the said album was their start, the band had played Tell Are Your Friends in full straight to finish with You Know How I Do to Head Club. To say that this was only the beginning of the night would be an understatement, the band played other numerous songs throughout their career such hits as What’s It Feel Like To Be A Ghost? and MakeDamnSure from their 2006 album Louder Now

Seeing Taking Back Sunday, on a Sunday night, was, in other words, awesome, but what else would you expect?
