Monday night at the Ozark Music Hall in Fayetteville, Arkansas, was a full-blown blast from the past with a lineup bringing the kind of show that felt like digging out your old band tees and heavy eyeliner. The second leg of Chiodos All’s Well That Ends Well 20th Anniversary Tour rolled into town with a stacked lineup blending old-school favorites and newer faces like, Big Ass Truck, Emmure, Hawthorne Heights, and Chiodos.
Hawthorne Heights kept the early-2000s energy high, expertly balancing melody and melancholy. The crowd sang every word of “Ohio Is for Lovers,” proving some songs just never get old. Emmure delivered a heavy set, shaking the walls with their massive breakdowns, while Big Ass Truck opened the night with screams and a smile from frontman Abel Abarca after spotting a fan holding up a Modelo in the front row. The band then played their new single, “Big Ass Beer.”
For longtime Chiodos fans, this was a huge night. While Chiodos officially split in 2016 this tour is their most significant return since returning to the scene in 2023. The band initially hit the road for the first leg of their 20th Anniversary celebration in March of this year and started the second leg this November.
Fronted by the electric Craig Owens, the stage belonged to him. Owens, the only original member left, made sure the energy wasn’t about him alone, though. “It’s as much yours as it is ours,” he declared midway through their set, earning massive cheers from a devoted crowd that clearly felt every word.
Owens certainly knows how to own a moment. He walked out rocking a stark, all-white outfit sharply contrasted by his platform black Docs. He sipped from a matching white mug like a stage prop, making the whole night theatrical from the jump. Just before Chiodos hit the stage, a mysterious figure in a black cloak even stepped out appearing to “sage” the stage, adding a dramatic touch right before the chaos.
Once the band tore into the “bangers,” as Craig called them, the place went absolutely wild. The fans screamed along to every lyric, turning the room into one giant emo choir. The set hit peak drama near the end when the band briefly cleared out and the house lights dimmed. A haunting, prerecorded voice echoed through the venue: “Hello, hello, can you hear me? Are you ready?” The lights pulsed back on as electronic beats blasted, and Owens reappeared in a simple white tank top, ready to finish the emotional ride.
For everyone who grew up with Chiodos, this tour isn’t just a reunion—it’s a chance to feel it all again. Owens summed it up perfectly: “It’s as much yours as it is ours.” And on Monday night, it felt that way to the core.
