SM Entertainment’s eight-member girl group Hearts2Hearts blew fans away with two back-to-back showcases and a night at the Grammy Museum. Their fandom, S2 (pronounced Hachu) sold out both the New York and Los Angeles shows as they eagerly waited for the octet to make their US debut at Brooklyn’s Paramount and The Wiltern in Los Angeles. As part of the 2026 Hearts2Hearts Premiere Showcase in North America, the members prepared a night of high enthusiasm and plenty of fan service.
Building on their online momentum, the members of Hearts2Hearts showed how much they couldn’t wait to step onto the North American stage. Each dressed in specially tailored punk, grunge outfits—as opposed to the white school uniform look for NY—Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Juun, A-na, Ian, and Ye-on took turns in the spotlight and doused the audience with hard-hitting choreography and strong vocals.

Unlike a full concert, the showcase was meant to be an hour-long performance by the artists to lay out everything they’ve got. Both sold-out performances highlighted the scale of the Hearts2Hearts craze, and provided a visual for how successful SM Entertainment has been in translating online virality into ticket sales. Despite this taking place only a year after their debut, the eight members have risen to the challenge of capturing the hearts of the global public.
Not a single attendee sat down during the 11-song setlist, starting off strong with the deceptively simple but upbeat track “The Chase.” Every beat had the physical kick and vocal punch of a title track, which most groups would typically save their energy for their heaviest hits. Obviously not these eight girls, who couldn’t contain their passion as they challenged themselves with back-to-back choreography for their first three songs.
Taking a moment to talk to the crowd, the Hearts2Hearts members took a vote to see which song they’d perform next. “STYLE” won out, and the whole venue was surprised by the bass-boosted version of the song. The girls also covered a slew of SM Entertainment classics, such as Girls’ Generation’s “Gee” and “Genie,” f(x)’s “Electric Shock,” and Red Velvet’s “Red Flavor.”
To show off their ability to improvise, they prepared a mini Q&A where they answered S2’s heartfelt requests, like acting out the Hearts2Hearts mini-mascot introductions with aegyo and performing a short segment of TWICE’s “Cheer Up.” Stella was asked what she’d like their next comeback to be, to which she hinted that “the next season is summer…” To the disappointment of the crowd, that’s all she could reveal. No doubt they’ll be aiming to take the title of summer queens.

Closing out the show with “FOCUS” and “RUDE!,” the entire venue roared in preparation for the iconic bridge in the latter song. From topping global charts to winning several awards, the infectious call to sing along in unison with Stella was undeniable. Not a single voice was silent in the 2,300-capacity venue, and the eight members left with smiles before waving a final goodbye.
In a show of fanship, a rare sight in light of the vast number of K-pop concerts in the US, S2 handed out free song title scratch cards and stickers after the show. 2026 is sure to be an exciting period for the Hearts2Hearts members, and they’ve got nowhere to go but up.
