Cameron Whitcomb brings rockstar energy to Knoxville

Fresh off the release of his debut album The Hard Way, Cameron Whitcomb is currently traveling North American on his I’ve Got Options Tour.

Launching straight into “Hundred Mile High,” Whitcomb had the crowd hooked with his raspy, powerhouse vocals and energetic rockstar energy. Following a few songs after and during a cover of Wheatus’ “Teenage Dirtbag,” Whitcomb’s guitarist came out in a dress to sing the girl part, a silly moment that had the entire room singing along.

Between songs, Cameron kept things loose and real, cracking jokes and even teasing a brand-new song, potentially titled “I’m Not Yours Anymore” from his upcoming The Hard Way (Deluxe) out November 14. After finishing up “The Devil I’ve Seen,” Whitcomb used that moment to introduce his band one by one and ending with a grin and the line, “and I’m Cameron Donald Whitcomb.”

Before slowing it down into a more serious tone for the night, Whitcomb dedicated “Flower Tattoos” to his friends who were no longer with us and shared his journey through sobriety and being 2 years and 5 months clean.

The rest of the set was a full dive into more songs from The Hard Way before closing out with “Options,” “Medusa,” and finally “Quitter.”

With only 5 more dates on his current headlining tour, of which 3 are sold out, Whitcomb’s journey is one to be watched. Whitcomb will be starting off 2026 opening for HARDY on his THE COUNTRY!
