ARCHERS has announced their fourth EP, Temporary High, due out June 13, as they hit the UK to perform at Download Festival.

Two months after releasing the single, “Never Enough,” the band, coinciding with the release of their lead single, “Better Off,” announced their brand-new EP, which was produced by Matt Good (Hollywood Undead, Sleeping With Sirens), and explores metalcore aggression.

“‘Better Off’ is about breaking free from a manipulative relationship and having the courage to set and enforce personal boundaries even when it’s uncomfortable,” says the band.

The band’s new EP has been described as high-powered dynamics, as the Midwestern quartet connects with pain, broken hearts and “crushing heaviness,” as they call it. About the upcoming EP, the band states:

“Temporary High is all about finding catharsis. It’s about breaking free from toxic cycles and finding value in oneself apart from anyone or anything that would try to usurp one’s own identity.”
