Los Angeles alt-rock artist, GUNNAR has announced his sophomore album, Sun Faded, out June 6 via via PREACH Records/Virgin.

GUNNAR also released the track “Upside Down”, a glitchy-pop anthem produced by Sam Farrar and KThrash. He made a music video to go along with the song which he co-directed with The Young Astronauts, pulling his audience in to showcase the song’s theme of unknown chaos.

In a press release, GUNNAR states: “This song is about standing on the edge of the unknown where chaos is clarity; where I’m living in that chaos. I sometimes struggle when things are going too well and smoothly and I actually do best when my world is upside down.”

In addition to announcing his new album, GUNNAR will be embarking on his Upside Down Tour this fall kicking it off on October 9th in Chicago and playing other major cities through October 25 including Boston, Nashville, and Los Angeles, which is the last city on his tour. This will be GUNNAR’s first ever headlining tour. “I’ve been waiting to do a headline tour for 6 years and to finally be able to get out on the road and do it is beyond a dream come true,” says GUNNAR.

Tickets for the Upside Down Tour are available on GUNNAR’s website.

With Sun Faded poised to showcase his ever-evolving sound, GUNNAR proves once again that he’s an artist unwilling to stay in one place for too long. Stay tuned for more as he gears up to take 2025 by storm.
