Bradley Simpson releases “Carpet Burn” ahead of ‘The Panic Years’ release

Date:

Bradley Simpson‘s newest single, “Carpet Burn,” dropped Jan. 17. One of the United Kingdom’s most exciting up-and-coming artists, Simpson is releasing this single ahead of his highly anticipated debut solo album, The Panic Years, set to release Feb. 28.

“Carpet Burn” embodies Simpson’s timeless, confessional style that intertwines contemporary sounds with an aesthetic tinged by the 70s.

About the song, Simpson added:

‘Carpet Burn’ was the first song I wrote when I got to New York to write the album and it always felt really special. It’s a song about wanting more time with someone special to you, and it came around really quickly. I wrote it in my hotel room in about half an hour and took it into the studio the next day.”

Exciting collaborators on “Carpet Burn” and the rest of The Panic Years album include two-time Grammy-nominated producer BOOTS (Beyoncé, Run The Jewels), Andrew Wells (Phoebe Bridgers) and Ina Wroldsen (Calvin Harris).

Simpson will embark on his largest UK tour following the release of The Panic Years this spring. Plan ahead by preordering your own copy here and by taking a look at his headline shows on his website and below:
