Date:

On May 13, 2024 progressive metal band Periphery made a pit stop at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tennessee. Support for this tour includes Eidola and a solo set from Jake Bowen. Fans young and old crowded the venue ready to see what the night holds.

Formed in 2005 out of Washington, DC this Grammy nominated band has released seven albums, the most recent entitled Periphery V: Djent Is Not a Genre in 2023. As the lights dimmed and the first note began, fans went wild chanting “Periphery! Periphery! Periphery!” Immediately the energy began and fans on the rail were gleaming with excitement. Vocalist, Spencer Sotelo, bursts onto the stage with an unstoppable force that carried throughout the night. During the eleven song set Periphery played several fan favorites which included “Ragnarok,” “Stranger Things,” “Wax Wings,” “Marigold,” and closed out the night with “Blood Eagle.” Without skipping a beat this iconic band put on a once in a lifetime performance, and had fans throughout the venue in complete awe of their energy, showmanship, and insane riffs. Truly a night to remember in Nashville, and we cannot wait to see them back next time.
