Jason Lyles releases tribute to the sci-fi classic ALIENS in “Salvage”

Date:

Jason Lyles, in celebration of Alien Day 2024, has released a tribute to the sci-fi classic ALIENS, “Salvage”. Drawing inspiration from the iconic opening sequence of the 1986 film, “Salvage” is reminiscent of a deep space expedition.

The song’s mixes space rock, 80s pop, and alt rock, bringing out the of nostalgia while keeping things fresh to the modern day listener. It’s as if Duran Duran collaborated with Radiohead to pay homage to David Bowie.

Accompanying the release is a visually stunning lyric video, expertly crafted by Tyler Green of Kaiser Bay Productions and features footage from the iconic film. The cover art, created by Jason’s daughter Rosie, depicts the salvage team leader in his yellow biohazard suit.

“Salvage” follow the release of “Deflated” and “The Light” which came out earlier in 2024.

The single is now available on major streaming platforms, with vinyl and CDs offered on Jason’s website.
