Indie-pop wunderkind Claud released their debut album Super Monster earlier this year, introducing the world to their fantastic pop stylings through Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records. It’s been a record that I’ve constantly returned to this year, and they’ve got a massive fall lined up playing festivals like Firefly, Austin City Limits, and Outside Lands along with supporting Bleachers on their coast-to-coast U.S. tour.
Today, we’re getting the first remix from Super Monster, and it’s got a couple of high profile names on it. “In Or In-Between” was already one of the more fascinating songs from the album, and this remix featuring Jesse Rutherford from alt-rock icons The Neighbourhood and up-and-coming L.A. act The Marías pushes it into exciting new territory. The new track turns Claud’s soundscape into a new duet between Jesse and María Zardoya that successfully blends together the best parts of all three artists.
