Who should you see at Reading & Leeds Festival 2021?

Date:

With the long awaited return of Reading and Leeds Festival this August Bank Holiday Weekend and featuring the festivals biggest lineup yet, we will be taking a closer look and give you our recommendations for this years ones to watch. The lineup for this year includes performances from headlining acts Liam Gallagher, Stormzy, Disclousure, Post Malone, Catfish & The Bottlemen and Queens Of The Stone Age across two main stages but with a huge lineup of other artists attending, check out our event ones to watch.

#1 BAND: Sam Fender
Returning to this years Reading & Leeds Festival after his last appearance in 2018 is Sam Fender. Following the huge success of his debut album Hypersonic Missiles it is no surprise that Sam is appearing with a pre-headline spot on the West Main Stage. In recent months we have seen clips of Sam and the band working on new music in the studio so we can hope to hear some new sounds from them at this years festival.
LISTEN: “The Borders”, “Play God”

#2 BAND: Hot Milk
Next up on out ones to watch is Manchester band Hot Milk. For all the pop punk fans out there this band are definitely not to be missed. Hot Milk know how to put on a show and will undoubtably be opening up the West Main Stage with a bang and will get everyone in the mood for a great day of music.
LISTEN: “Candy Coated Lie$”

#3 BAND: Yungblud
Following on from his electric performances at 2019’s Reading & Leeds Festival Yungblud is without doubt a must-see at this years events. With the release of his new album Weird! last year this will be one of Yungblud’s first time performing his new music to a UK crowd. We also have a sneaky suspicion that we will be seeing some live collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly who is conveniently playing after him on the West Main Stage.
LISTEN: “god save me, but don’t drown me out”, “parents”

#4 BAND: Oliver Tree
It’s hard to explain to someone the kind of music that Oliver Tree makes, but trust us you will not want to miss his performance this year. His unique, high energy and slightly odd live shows are certainly not to be missed and it is without doubt that he will be a massive hit at this years festival. You can catch him out on the Dance Stage.
LISTEN: “I’m Gone”

#5 BAND: Sigrid
Finally on our list is Norwegian singer songwriter Sigrid who will be performing on the East Main Stage this year. It’s hard to not like Sigrid, her infectious pop sound and lively, positive performances are the perfect match for a summer festival and we for one can’t wait to see her set. Check out her new single release Mirror below.
LISTEN: “Mirror”
