Live Photos: Julia Michaels // Atlanta, GA

Date:

Buckhead Theatre : Atlanta, GA

As fans waited for the night to start, a big sign greeted them centerstage with the words “Julia Michaels – Judgement Free Zone,” and informed the crowd to sing, dance, jump, feel, and laugh. As the night commenced on a positive note, the sign only foreshadowed what was yet to come: a night of pure excitement and happiness.

Greeted by loud cheers and applause, Michaels took the stage with one of her more daring songs “Pink.” With a great range of emotions, Julia Michaels performed throughout the stage as fans excitedly sang along. Keeping the excitement going, the singer smoothly transitioned to her Clean Bandit collab “I  Miss You,” and belted out the notes with such ease. As the performance went on, it became very clear that Julia Michaels was made for the stage. As she performed older cuts such as “Make It Up To You,” and “Worst In Me,” Julia’s passion never went away. Her constant interactions with both her bandmates and the crowd should be the dictionary definition for happiness. With such joy and comfort, Julia truly made the theatre a safe place both for her and her fans.

With a setlist that not only consisted of her well known singles such as “What A Time,””Uh Huh,” and “Issues,” the setlist was a great mix of her previous EP’s for sure to please both old and new fans. The Inner Monologue Tour takes its audience to a safe place filled with comfort and flowers, as Julia Michaels wins over the crowd with both her talent and excitement for her craft. With several dates remaining on this current leg of her tour, it’s highly advised to attend for Michaels will leave you begging for more.
