Recent News: His new album june arrives today via Fearless Records.

Through his cathartic and soulful blend of genres, along with his highly charismatic stage presence, Los Angeles singer-songwriter DE’WAYNE has become rock ‘n’ roll’s latest prodigy. With the release of his new album june, out today via Fearless Records, DE’WAYNE has crafted a sexy and vulnerable body of work which embodies sensuality, spirituality and love in its most pure and expressive form.

Initially getting his start in 2017, the Houston native released two albums: STAINS in 2021 and My Favorite Blue Jeans in 2022. These albums showed DE’WAYNE establishing for himself his signature genre-defying artistry, but leaning more towards a pop-punk sound. With june, he brings funk to the forefront, crafting a beautiful blend of pop, funk, rock and punk all into one, exuding a musicality not currently seen in today’s alternative landscape.

Through his music, DE’WAYNE defies the boundaries of modern rock music. Not only does he refuse to limit himself to one single genre, but by bringing Black artistry to the forefront, DE’WAYNE is shining a light on music’s growing new wave of POC alternative artists and showing the music industry that they shouldn’t limit themselves either.

In the years leading up to his latest album, DE’WAYNE has collaborated with the likes of Chase Atlantic, WILLOW and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine. He has made festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Bottlerock, and most recently played the Long Beach show of this year’s triumphant return of Vans Warped Tour. Following the release of june, DE’WAYNE will tour in support of Duckwrth on his All American Freakshow Tour this fall.

Through june, an album he refers to his his most honest project yet, DE’WAYNE provides the ultimate message that love is vital. Through his witty and honest lyricism, as well as his undeniable rock star charisma, DE’WAYNE finds himself in a new artistic era — one in which many consider him to be rock music’s newest hero.
