Recent News: Will release their second studio album Wisher on November 14 through Pure Noise Records.

Initially emerging from the DIY scene of Oklahoma City in 2018, post-emo outfit Ben Quad have grown to stand out as trailblazers within emo music’s next generation. What began as a fateful meeting over Craigslist has, over the years, evolved into a project that wholeheartedly embodies and embraces vulnerability, evolution and limitless exploration. Soon to release their sophomore full-length album Wisher this Friday through Pure Noise Records, Ben Quad convey their sonic growth and maturity more now than ever before.

Directly following their seminal debut LP I’m Scared That’s All There Is (2022), Ben Quad’s latest album takes on a more hopeful outlook compared to their inaugural release. While the band’s debut full-length album conveys definitive emo themes such as loss, love and guilt, Wisher spins this outlook into something more optimistic as the band learns to lovingly embrace life’s many uncertainties.

Through the album’s previous singles “Painless,” “It’s Just A Title” and “Very Big in Sheboygan,” Ben Quad continue to hone in on the screamo-influenced musicality they’ve embodied in recent years. When combined with their unmistakable Midwestern Emo-inspired compositions, Wisher ultimately serves as an unapologetic and profound expression of the band’s artistic growth.

Currently supporting Koyo on their debut headlining tour — alongside Restraining Order, Leaving Time and I Promised The World — Ben Quad will continue making their way across North America until the tour wraps up on November 23 in New York City. The band will then end their touring this year with an album release show on November 29 at Beer City Music Hall in their hometown of Oklahoma City. They will once again hit the road in February 2026 to tour alongside Arm’s Length and Shoreline before making an appearance at Treefort Music Fest in March.

Ultimately, Ben Quad are a post-emo quartet that maintain an authenticity that’s fueled by their own trust in themselves. No longer fearing what the future has in store, the alt-rock outfit have no learned to face uncertainty head on — and even celebrate it. Wisher stands not just as a raw display of sonic confidence, it cements itself as a first look at a journey of emotional transformation, encouraging listeners that hope is the strongest force of all.
