Independent electro-pop recording artist and singer-songwriter ZØYA has released a new single titled “I’m Good.” Like many of her previous tracks, the song draws inspiration from personal experiences, particularly those from her formative years through early adulthood. “I’m Good” follows the release of “Who Do You Think you Are?,” her first release of 2025, “It’s Alright” and “THIS IS THE END.”
“I’m Good” stems from a real-life situation involving a relationship with someone dishonest and in an open relationship, a fact ZØYA only discovered later. The single serves as a closing chapter in that story. Rather than conveying sadness, the track is a declaration of strength, growth and self-worth. It marks a turning point where she realized she deserved better and chose not to settle.
ZØYA was born in Pinsk, Belarus, and immigrated to the United States at age 11, settling in Columbus, Ohio. Raised in a Christian household, her music is heavily influenced by worship and gospel. She began writing music at age 6 and trained at the Columbus International Children’s Choir Academy, where she also learned classical piano. At 13, she recorded a worship album titled Shalom at her local church.
In 2017, ZØYA released her debut EP Veracious Heart, which featured the singles “I Still Believe” and “Chaos in My Head.” The project examined the challenges she faced as a teenager, while highlighting the role of faith and encouragement in her life. She independently toured the EP in May of the same year.
Her second EP, Journey, was released in 2020 and accompanied by a 17-show headlining tour across the U.S. and U.K. The tour included sold-out stops in London, New York City, Los Angeles and Columbus.
As her artistry continues to evolve, ZØYA remains passionate about her mission: “To share my story with everyone, give encouragement through music and dynamic live shows, and most importantly, spread the message of love, hope and self-empowerment.”
