Yellowcard scores first-ever #1 on alternative radio for two consecutive weeks with “Better Days”

Date:

Ahead of the release of their first full-length record next month, Yellowcard have earned their first-ever #1 record with “Better Days.” The track has spent two consecutive weeks topping the alternative radio charts. The new album arrives on October 10th via Better Noise Music and is available for pre-order/pre-save here.

“Better Days” reflects on the alt-rock icons’ gratitude, perspective and purpose at this point in their decade-spanning career. Yellowcard present a revitalized, more modern twist on their signature 2000s pop-punk style with their upcoming 11th studio album. Violinist Sean Mackin shares,

“Man it has been a wild and exciting week. After all this time in a band and being away from the band, I just never imagined that we’d ever have a number one song in anything, but it’s official. At the end of the week ‘Better Days’ was number one at Alternative Radio. We have so many people helping us, and believing in us and rooting for us and we hear you, we feel you, we love you, and we are so grateful. Thank you for listening to ‘Better Days’ and our band Yellowcard.”

Yellowcard are currently co-headlining across the U.S. with A Day To Remember on their Maximum Fun Tour. Tickets and information for remaining dates can be found here
