The Strokes announce massive 2026 world tour with new album ‘Reality Awaits’ on the way

Date:

The Strokes have announced a massive global tour for 2026, with dates spanning North America, the U.K., Europe, and Japan beginning in June and continuing through the fall.

The run includes stops at major venues such as two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, London’s The O2, Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre, Paris’ Accor Arena, and Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, among others. A rotating lineup of support acts will join select dates, including Thundercat, Cage the Elephant, Hamilton Leithauser, Fat White Family, Alex Cameron, and ÖLÜM.

The tour arrives alongside news of their upcoming album Reality Awaits, due June 26 via Cult Records/RCA Records. Recorded in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin and finished across multiple locations, the record marks the band’s first new music since 2020’s The New Abnormal.

The announcement follows a busy live stretch for the band, fresh off their first weekend at Coachella, with additional headline appearances set for Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Japan’s Summer Sonic 2026 still to come this spring and summer.

Further information and fan registration is available via thestrokes.com, with a fan presale beginning Wednesday, April 15 and general on-sale following Friday, April 17, with tickets available here. For North American artist presale access, fans must register by Tuesday, April 14 at 9am ET.
