Ukrainian progressive metal band Jinjer have announced their North American tour with special guests Crystal Lake and Entheos.
Composed of powerhouse lead vocalist Tatiana Shamayluk, guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov, bassist Eugene Kostyuk, and drummer Vladislav Ulasevish, Jinjer has made their mark in becoming the next pioneers in the progressive metal genre.
From gaining over 250 million streams across all digital platforms to achieving success worldwide, Jinjer broke into the spotlight with their single “Pisces” off their second studio album King of Everything (2016), accumulating over 98 million views from their live session performance with Napalm Records.
Jinjer returned last year with Duél (2025), an 11-track record inspired by Ukrainian history and Eastern Europe in the late 19th century. In a recent interview with Louder, Shamayluk shared her thoughts about her native country since Russia’s war against Ukraine started in 2022, part of a devastating ongoing conflict since 2014:
“I miss Ukraine. I miss Ukraine very much. I missed it even more when I realised that I cannot go back there. Because if there was no war, I would be back and forth, and it would be easier for me to deal with this kind of emotion. Right now, I can’t go there, I can’t go to Kyiv. Something tells me that I shouldn’t. I’m pretty sure that I have bad luck, sometimes it’s really bad, and I’m pretty sure something would happen to me.”
Turning her pain into inspirational perseverance, she channels this energy into the music she creates with her bandmates, continuing to empower not only their fans, but also the next generation of artists unafraid to turn vulnerability into something meaningful.
Jinjer will kick off their North American tour in Ottawa, Ontario, on June 5 at the Bronson Centre and close at Warped Tour in Long Beach, California, on July 25.
