Virginia singer-songwriter Tommy Richman’s debut album is arriving next month. The musician has announced that his new record, Coyote, will be here on Sept. 27 through ISO Supremacy and PULSE Records.
Richman gained fame with his single “Million Dollar Baby,” which went viral on TikTok and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 50 chart, becoming the longest-running song to do so. It also reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has accumulated more than 745 million streams on Spotify as of Aug. 27. His follow-up singles “Baby” with “Devil Is a Lie” also charted, with “Baby” topping the Pop Airplay chart and “Devil Is a Lie” peaking at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Along with the announcement, Richman released the official trailer for his debut album, Coyote, on his YouTube channel, writing, “Welcome to the desert. Coyote, my debut album. 9/27.” The trailer opens with a real coyote walking through a Wile E. Coyote-inspired desert set. The scene then shifts to Richman wiping clown makeup off his face in front of a mirror, a nod to the cover art from his project, Alligator (2022).
