Tidan delivers a mix of Alt-Rock, Pop-Punk, and Hip-Hop in “Ghost”

Date:

Up-and-coming Alt-Rock artist from Germany, Tidan, has made a compelling return to the music scene with his new single “Ghost.” This track marks the first release from his forthcoming EP Chasing Highs & Lows. “Ghost” delivers a mix of Alt-Rock, Pop-Punk, and Hip-Hop influences, reminiscent of Machine Gun Kelly’s recent work.

From the opening lines, “Here we are again / Texting at 2 AM / Messing with my head again / Let me in,” the tone is set for a relatable song. The lyrics dive into the turmoil of a complicated relationship, capturing the late-night confusion and heartache that many listeners will find all too familiar.

Tidan’s journey from a metal enthusiast to a versatile artist exploring new sounds is evident in “Ghost.” His time away from the stage, honing his skills in audio engineering and production, has paid off. The production, crafted in collaboration with Los Angeles-based producer Peter Zengerle, is crisp and dynamic.

Delivered with raw emotion, the lyrics “You left me scarred with no stains / I broke your heart in the rain / And now there’s nothing but pain / I can’t forgive you / I broke your heart again” encapsulate the cyclical nature of hurt and regret.
