American indie-folk band The Head and The Heart will celebrate 15 years since the release of their self-titled album, The Head and The Heart (2011), with a special U.S. tour. The band will perform their debut album in full, including fan-favorite tracks “Down in the Valley,” “Rivers and Roads,” “Lost in My Mind,” and more.
Vocalist and guitarist Charity Rose Thielen shares,
“It’s wild that we will be celebrating 15 years of our first record this spring – we are so lucky to have had the stars align meeting one another and creating art in those early days – we are looking forward to reflecting and celebrating the moments of coming together for the first time in real time with all of you! It’s going to be a show unlike anything we’ve ever done. We are also so grateful and feel that the stars have aligned with having the Brudi Brothers out opening up each show in these intimate theater settings ! See you this spring!!!!”
The 11-date anniversary tour will begin on May 1 in Nashville, IN, at the Brown County Music Center, then stop in Chicago, Brooklyn, Charlottesville, and more before concluding at the Boch Center – Wang Theatre in Boston, MA.
Pre-sale tickets will be available to The Head and The Heart’s app users today, Feb. 18 at 9 a.m., with additional pre-sales running until Feb. 19. General on-sale will begin on Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets and more information are available here.
The Head and The Heart will embark on their anniversary tour with additional dates for their headlining Aperture Tour continuing throughout the year. Their headline shows include 2 sold-out performances at the Colorado Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 15 and 16, including support from Evan Honer and Wilderado, respectively.

The “Rivers and Roads” band will continue touring North America in support of Brandi Carlile’s The Human Tour, continuing throughout February in Toronto until their San Francisco show in March. Tickets to see them with Brandi Carlile are available here.
The Head and The Heart released their Ghosts In The Machinery EP in November 2025 following the release of their seventh studio album Aperture in May, featuring “Blue Embers,” “After The Setting Sun,” “Time With My Sins,” and the record-setting album’s #1 AAA single and alternative radio chart topper, “Arrow.”
