The Happy Fits continue to treat their fans to new, delicious tunes: the New Jersey band released their latest Lovesick bonus track, “Tenderly,” just in time for the loveliest holiday of the year, sharing, “We hope it keeps you warm through these winter blues.”
Their first ukulele track in their discography, “Tenderly” is a sweet, lighthearted love tune that pairs charmingly with the themes and feelings of Lovesick tracks “I Could Stare At You For Hours,” “Sarah’s Song,” and “Wrong About Me.”
And if you were worried that they lost sight of their fruit theme — their ukulele looks like a watermelon!
The band shared,
“It feels almost like the end of an era trying to enjoy every moment of Lovesickness that we can, so it’s bittersweet letting this track into the world. […] It’s a bit different than the rest of the record, but the same in its longing and melodrama. We hope the lush orchestras and harmonies we cooked up for you warmly serenade you through these bitter winter months.”
The indie band debuted their dynamic fourth studio album, Lovesick, in September, showcasing their unique blend of commanding vocals atop a rock-instrumental track paired with orchestral elements.
The Happy Fits will embark on their U.S. Lovesick 2026 tour this spring, kicking off on March 13, in Burlington, VT, at Higher Ground Ballroom and stopping in major cities including San Diego, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Baltimore, and more, before concluding on May 3 at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT.
