The Altered Hours share new single “Such a Steal” ahead of upcoming album

Date:

Cork-based indie rock band The Altered Hours continue their exciting streak of releases with their new single “Such a Steal,” out today via Pizza Pizza Records. It’s the third single from their upcoming self-titled album, following earlier singles “Lay There With You” and
“Turn Away.” “Such a Steal” showcases the band’s blend of texture and emotion with moody soundscapes and driving indie instrumentals.

The dark and dynamic single has a steady rhythm and layered guitars that build throughout the track. The guitar soundscapes are rich and full of texture, adding even more weight to the song’s message.

Formed in the late 2010s, The Altered Hours have spent over a decade carving out their own space within Ireland’s alternative scene. Their debut album In Heat Not Sorry, 2016, introduced their dark, hypnotic sound, while 2021’s Convertible followed that vision with even more excitement. Known for their mix of psychedelic rock, post-punk, and shoegaze, the band have built a reputation with their live performances and atmospheric songwriting. This look into their upcoming album and shows is promising for what’s to come.
