Singer-songwriter Taylor Bickett has released her first single of 2026, “Wild Dogs.”
Alongside the song, she also released the official visualizer, which pairs the song’s emotional intensity with simple but evocative imagery that emphasizes the track’s raw storytelling. Rather than relying on a narrative-heavy music video, the visual focuses on moody lighting, textured visuals, and subtle movement that mirrors the song’s reflective tone.
On the inspiration for the song, Bickett explained:
“I heard once that wild dogs eat their prey alive, hearts still beating. I looked into it and learned that they do this not because they’re cruel or sadistic, but because they’re scared of the bigger predators that will come along. I wrote ‘Wild Dogs’ as an exploration of this idea as it applies to human relationships. Sometimes the person who hurt you isn’t some villain set on destroying your life; they’re just a coward.”
