sorrycarlee releases anthem “Fork!!” for perfectionists and people pleasers

Date:

Sorrycarlee has released a new single titled “Fork!!” as she continues to build her music career. The track features a gritty guitar riff and a heavy bass beat, creating an indie pop record centered on people pleasers and perfectionists who often give great advice but struggle to take it themselves.

Sorrycarlee, also known as Carlee Chappell, debuted as an artist in 2024 with her single “Cheap Therapy.” Originally set on earning a Ph.D. in psychology, Chappell had straight A’s, participated in extracurricular activities and earned a degree in English and Psychology. However, she ultimately decided to take a leap of faith and pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter and recording artist.

Drawing inspiration from childhood favorites like Hannah Montana, Taylor Swift and Hilary Duff,Chappell found early success co-writing tracks such as “You Might Not Like Her” by Maddie Zahm and ”You’re Too Close” by Francis Karel. She uses her music as an open diary, sharing moments of heartbreak, self-discovery and everyday struggles.

With similar sounds to Colbie Caillat, Mercer Henderson, Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, “Fork!!” marks Chappell’s third single. Listeners can expect more music from her through the rest of the year and into 2026.
