SOFIA ISELLA descends into madness in new music video for “Muse”

Date:

After two cryptic, teasing posts on Instagram, Sofia Isella dropped a new music video Monday afternoon for her song, “Muse.” Pulled from her first EP I’m camera. via Crush Music, the video is a strikingly on-brand entry for the rising artist, perfectly matching her dark artistic vision with a very horror movie-esque vibe.

The haunting video, directed by Isella and Jasper Pagan, embodies the dark nature of the song of the feeling of being completely possessed by one’s muse. The visualization perfectly embodies the descent of an artist into madness. What begins with eerie symbolism of moving in circles and being tethered by something hidden in the shadows, turns into a black-and-white, rage-filled and manic episode.

It ends with the absolutely terrifying visual of Isella holding hands with a giant figure as a fly crawls over her arm. The video is bound to leave viewers unsettled and disturbed, which is likely exactly what Isella had hoped.

Sofia Isella is set to start her North America tour on October 11th in Minneapolis, MN. Tickets are on sale here
