Seanna Pereira’s second single, “Arsonist,” continues to cement her place among the next wave of pop voices in the industry. “Arsonist” is the second release from her upcoming debut EP, that is empowering her voice and her story with a thoughtful melody and captivating lyrics that leave you yearning for more. 

“Arsonist” is a love story gone wrong, a toxic pull that keeps you in, but knowing that the exit is bright and flashing. The feeling of love and complexity of emotions of understanding that logically, this is a situation where you have to leave, but chooses to stay due to the love in your heart for the other. The active decision to stay until everything blows up in flames, like an arsonist. Pereira discusses her perspective and message of “Arsonist,” stating,

 “Arsonist” is about craving something you know will hurt you, but wanting it anyway,” says Pereira. “It’s that intoxicating pull toward a person you should walk away from, but can’t. Even when everyone warns you against it, you still choose to run toward the fire.” – Seanna Pereira
