New York based self taught producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer Sam The Woo released a brilliant new track entitled “Rude Little Girl” today. Blending together her own styles of Motown, funk, country, pop, and alt-pop Sam The Woo has quickly gained traction amongst the music industry.
After jokingly being called a rude little girl by her mother Sam The Woo wrote and produced this track to reflect on the dangers of her stubborn independence, and the stories of her life. With her jazzy vocals, and funk inspired bass-line the lyrics “You’re just a rude little girl..to yourself. And your mom, and your help” will play over and over in your head. Sam The Woo is expected to release her debut EP Hungry Appetite in October 2023 and we can only imagine what is set to come.
