Russ has begun releasing his latest project, The Elephant & The Rider (W!LD Deluxe), to all streaming services. The LP is coming one track at a time, the first just released on Aug. 29.
The Georgia-based rapper stated on his Instagram that “This is the beginning of the next chapter,” stirring the fan base and getting them ready for what’s to come. The first track, “Recognize” with Jessy Blakemore, was released on Friday as the beginning of Russ’ rollout for his new era. He will be collaborating with producers Kiri Gerbs (Rich Amiri, Autumn!) and Jake Jepson (Luh Soldier, KIRBS), and the cover artwork was designed by killkamau on Instagram.
Vinyl pre-order links will be available soon, but the products won’t start shipping until the deluxe edition is fully released. Until then, prepare for The Elephant & The Rider by streaming “Recognize” with Jessy Blakemore on all platforms now.
