Date:

Punk rock star Dominic Harrison, professionally known as YUNGBLUD, is teaming up with 2001 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Aerosmith on a new collaboration, “My Only Angel.” The group teased the upcoming project on social media on Monday, posting a short clip with mesmerizing vocals from YUNGBLUD and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, with Harrison even sharing a smooch on Tyler’s cheek.

While fans have to stay tuned for the official release date, “My Only Angel” is now available to pre-save on streaming platforms here.

YUNGBLUD and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry recently appeared at MTV’s Video Music Awards in a phenomenal tribute to the late heavy metal icon and Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy Osbourne. The trio performed alongside Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt in a staggering medley of the Prince of Darkness’ songs “Crazy Train,” “Changes,” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”

YUNGBLUD debuted his ambitious fourth studio album IDOLS in June, which peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart over the summer. Most recently, he premiered an exclusive release of his documentary film, YUNGBLUD. ARE YOU READY, BOY?, showcasing the behind-the-scenes of the album alongside the band’s live performances of select tracks. The punk rocker will embark on IDOLS The World Tour this fall, which started in North America in August and will continue throughout North American and Europe until his concluding performance in Bergamo, Italy, on October 31. Remaining tickets are available here

American rock band Aerosmith is known internationally for its global 1973 hit “Dream On,” and achieved a rap-rock resurgence in 1986 with “Walk This Way,” an astounding genre-bending collaboration with hip-hop group Run-D.M.C. Over their 55-year-long career, the band has racked up a total of 25 gold, 18 platinum, and 12 multi-platinum albums, putting Aerosmith among the bands with the most total album certifications to date.

With just a thirty-second clip, it’s safe to say that the “My Only Angel” collaboration between legends is sure to unify generations of rock and roll fans.
