Record Store Day announces 2026 exclusive offerings

Date:

RSD 2026 ListRecord Store Day is set to return on Saturday, April 18, 2026, marking the 19th annual celebration of independent record shops. With more than 280 participating stores and hundreds of exclusive releases expected from artists across genres, the day once again puts the spotlight on the brick-and-mortar shops that continue to shape music culture.

While the exclusive releases often grab headlines, Record Store Day’s core mission is simple: support independent record stores. Record Store Day itself does not sell the releases through its website, instead, fans can only find these special titles by visiting participating brick-and-mortar record shops, starting on April 18.

Record Store Day also does not give or sell releases directly to stores. Each participating shop places orders through their usual distributors, just as they would for any new release or restock throughout the year. Because of this, not every record store will stock every release. Each shop is unique, shaped by its community and customer base. Fans are encouraged to build relationships with their local stores year-round, helping staff understand their tastes and making the Record Store Day experience even more personal.

Record Store Day titles fall into three main categories:
• Exclusives: Physically released only at independent record stores.
• RSD First: Available first at indie stores, with the possibility of a wider release at a later date.
• Small Run / Regional Titles: Limited pressings (often under 1,000 copies) or region-specific releases, which may be harder to find nationwide.

The titles span decades, genres, and formats, offering something for nearly every type of collector. Among the early highlights are All Time Low’s RSD Exclusive 7″ single, Anderson .Paak’s Malibu: 10 Year Anniversary 7″ box set, and BABYMETAL’s Live At The O2 Arena – Highlights EP.

Fans can also look forward to high-profile releases from Fall Out Boy, Bruno Mars, Charli xcx, HAIM, PinkPantheress, Tate McRae, and Selena Gomez.

Rock, alternative, and metal fans are well represented with titles from Bring Me The Horizon, Deafheaven, Sleep Token, Megadeth, Wolf Alice, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

For those who don’t have a nearby record store, or who weren’t able to find a particular release on the day, participating stores may choose to sell remaining stock online starting Sunday, April 19.
